DESCRIPTION
This new cable stayed bridge replaces the current arch bridge, crossing the Fraser River, between New Westminster and Surrey. This 4 lane bridge is asymmetric, with a single 170M concrete pylon in mid span, but closer to the Surrey shore . The new bridge is located 100M upstream from the existing rail bridge.

QA Geometry control supervision for the Ministry.
Provided all geometry control / dimensional confirmation checks and related post-processing of measurement data in S Korea.
Reviewed all fabrication sub-contractor’s ‘means and method’ statements.
Assisted sub-contractor with trial assembly methodology refinements – to improve final quality and decrease cycle times.
Reviewed erection sub-contractor’s ‘means and method’ statements.
